ScreenInk beta tools use small anonymous activity counts so we can understand installs and unique downloads without collecting lesson content.
- Sent by InkPen: install ID, app version, macOS version, Mac model, architecture, display count.
- Download counters use a salted IP hash and count the same IP only once per product.
- Not sent: screenshots, drawings, boards, files, app content, names, emails, or exact activity.
- Screenshot capture is intentionally removed from the public beta and planned for a later signed release.
